WHAT IS COEN COMPOSITE WOOD?

COEN Composite Wood is a co-engineered wood product, designed to outlast natural timber products. It’s the future of building.

Our superior product is a new type of composite (WPC) made by mixing 60% wood powder with 28% HDPE and 12% additives. These are extruded through our modern CNC high pressure / temperature extrusion machines in a variety of profiles, for composite decking, cladding, screening and fencing.

COMPOSITE vs TIMBER – THE TRUE COSTS
composite_vs_timber

Composite Wood provides significant environmental, time and cost savings when compared to natural timber products.

We took a Merbau Hardwood 90mm timber product and compared the total cost over 5 years to COEN Composite 140mm boards on a 20 Sqm deck*. The total cost savings of a COEN Composite deck versus a Merbau deck over 5 years is between $1,400 to $2,000 on a 20sqm area.

*Estimated $50 cost per year for COEN maintenance versus $300 cost per year for Merbau Hardwood. Annual costs considered are time, varnish, brushes/rollers and cleaning agent.

CHARACTERISTICS
WHAT OUR CUSTOMER’S ARE SAYING

Craig from COEN provided the highest levels of customer service throughout our entire purchase. From the very first phone call until well after our screening was delivered, Craig was more than happy to answer our questions and kept us informed every step of the way. I can’t recommend COEN more highly; I won’t be shopping around next time I’m in the market for composite timber.

Trent and Belinda Irvine, Residential screening, Fiji (CN-100x50-HSCR / CN-50x50-SSCR)

The product supplied was not used in the manner it was designed; however, I reworked it to complete a project.  It did the job wonderfully, we are very pleased.

Bruce Risby , Residential fencing (CN-205x20-Fence panel)

“From the get go, the service from COEN was exceptional – from initial consultation and installation recommendations, through to all items arriving on site in full, on time and as ordered.  During the installation, Craig was on site to support the product.”

“The attraction to COEN Composite Wood was the “No Maintenance”, especially for the corrosive environment we have here on the Sunshine Coast. We opted for set lengths of the screening to be cut in the factory, so no waste of material on-site, saving a heap of time on installation as no cutting to length was required. We found there was a significant cost saving with about 25% to 30% saved in time and materials

Ed Murphy , Residential screening (CN-90x40-HSCR)

“I am really pleased with the end result of my fence, I chose COEN Composite Wood to not only enhance the aesthetic of my home, but also for its low maintenance and durability qualities. Colour and finishes options were more than sufficient.

Craig was at all times professional, on time, approachable and easy to talk to. It was easy to build trust as he is enthusiastic about the product. I received regular updates on the delivery date, which added to a positive experience with COEN”.
